Position Description
- Proficiently operates all OR, Hybrid and diagnostic radiology equipment. To perform all diagnostic and therapeutic examinations through proper positioning of patients and preparation of contrast media’s to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Follows established policies and procedures set by the department, hospital, state, ACR, TJC, and OSHA.
- Performs diagnostic radiography studies by following established protocols and selecting correct exposure factors utilizing the assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce a technically excellent image to assist the radiologist in the diagnosis.
- Participates in complex invasive OR and Hybrid procedures by assisting the MD in performing the procedure and producing images in order to provide therapeutic and diagnostic services. Adheres to established guidelines to maintain sterile field.
- Practices radiation safety through appropriate use of radiation protection devices and adhering to radiation safety standards in order to protect patient, self and staff and to comply with regulatory agencies and requirements.
Position Requirements
- Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Must have CT License and be ARRT registered (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Prior experience as a radiographer is required, and experience with interventional radiology is strongly preferred
- Must be proficient in working with Electronic Health Records (EPIC experience preferred)
- Must be committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
Compensation
Salary Range: $31.00 to $44.64 Hourly
A $10,000 Sign On Bonus will be offered to eligible candidates. MRA offers competitive compensation, based on qualifications and experience. Candidate will receive travel reimbursement.
Shift Schedule
Weekly Hours: 40
- Full Time, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, plus call & holiday rotation
- Full Time, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, plus call & holiday rotation
